Ever since childhood, I’ve been deeply curious about the camera and the art of photography. I was inspired by talented artists around me who introduced me to this fascinating world. In those days, twin-lens reflex cameras were a common sight at family functions and events. I found myself naturally drawn to black-and-white photography and the magic of the developing process, which completely captivated me.
The process of image creation constantly occupied my thoughts, even during moments of rest, filling me with excitement and anticipation. I began experimenting with cameras, studying photographs, and understanding their technical aspects. I still vividly remember the moment I watched my very first photograph emerge in the darkroom — a feeling of pure joy, pride, and fulfillment that remains etched in my memory.
Over the years, working on advertising assignments as well as personal projects, I realized that personal photography gives me the greatest sense of satisfaction, as it allows me the freedom to express myself creatively. Time has flown by, and today, after 25 years, I continue to live my dream with the same passion and enthusiasm that inspired me in the beginning.
From the era of film to the digital age, the journey has been both enriching and rewarding — and the learning continues every day.
